Traveling from Denver, CO to Southern Oregon I took a break from driving and pulled into a rest stop just 10 miles east of the Nevada state line. For the first time I saw the Bonneville Salt Flats and all I could see was tonal range and contrast, its was wonderful. Although this rest stop appeared to be quite dull I saw a pay phone which led me to this interesting composition of the sidewalk and shade cover leading to the pay phone.
